Direct answer. Start with Highway 395 and the named intersection, then identify what you actually want. WSDOT describes periodic still images and says its intersection/freeway camera network does not retain event video. An existing collision report uses a separate Washington State Patrol route.

Your task. Identify the Highway 395 location near Addy and choose between a roadway-image enquiry and a request for an existing collision report.

The named Addy log entries supply a location reference; the imagery and collision-record pages explain different products rather than promising footage of an event.

An image showing a roadway and a record describing a collision answer different questions. For an enquiry near Addy, keep your own scene description separate from the road-inventory reference, the image collection date and any already-issued report number.

Use the named road entry before copying a number

WSDOT’s online Highway 395 log lists Addy-Gifford Road and Addy-Main Street as separate entries. Preserve the road name that fits your information; the community name alone does not select an intersection.

The legacy SRweb help distinguishes Accum Miles from Mile Post. If you copy either value from the tool, write its column label beside it and retain any displayed suffix. Do not substitute one number for the other or calculate a scene position from an unlabeled number. The help describes an older interface, so its menu steps are not a promise about today’s viewer.

Separate the three document purposes

WSDOT’s state-route imagery page describes still-image collection on a two-year cycle and a route for requesting available historical digital images. It also says its intersection and freeway camera network does not retain video for a specified collision date or time. These are different statements about different image products.

Limit that camera conclusion to the WSDOT network described on the page. For a different camera or operator, first identify that source independently. A roadway image’s assigned milepost can vary from its actual capture location, so use it as a reference with its date and location information, rather than as proof of an event.

Keep an existing report request distinct from a new report

Washington State Patrol separately labels WRECR for requesting a collision report and OMVCR for submitting a citizen collision report. Choose by the document purpose, not simply because both appear on the same collision-information page. This guide does not determine whether a report should be filed or whether a particular report exists.

For an existing-report question, keep the agency or reference already shown on your papers. For an imagery question, keep the route location and desired image period together. One enquiry need not pretend that the other record product will answer it.

Prepare a short location-and-product note

Use the following as your own preparation note, then follow the responsible agency’s current instructions. Leave uncertain details marked as uncertain instead of filling them from a road image.

  • Scene reference: road and named intersection, plus your observed direction or landmark.
  • Reference source: the exact log entry or document and any date shown with it.
  • Product wanted: available historical still image, existing collision-report copy, or a question about another identified camera operator.
  • Time reference: the incident date/time separately from the image collection date you are asking about.
  • Existing identifier: a report number or agency name already on your papers, if available.
